Electrostatic Painting

Electrostatic Painting For Home & Business

Electrostatic painting is a painting process used for painting metal that greatly reduces overspray and helps create an incredibly fine finish.

Electrostatic painting can be used on metal furniture, metal fences, metal door frames, metal machinery, metal filing cabinets and other metal products that need painting.

How Does Electrostatic Painting Work?

Electrostatic painting works by electrostatically charging the atomized paint as it travels through the spray gun. It is then attracted towards the metal piece that is being painted, almost like a magnet. This forces the paint to create an even coating and even wrap around the metal getting paint on every side while only painting from one direction.

Electrostatic painting not only produces an incredibly fine finish on metal products but is also environmentally friendly. Electrostatic painting produces the smallest amount of overspray compared to any other spraying process. Typically, less than 5% of paint is released as overspray (compared to 10-40% of other types of spraying).
